Reflection

Considering the development opportunities available to you this year, how have you applied what you learned?

        I learned many things this year, in this class. For example, how to use animations and transitions on power point. One way I have applied my knowledge to things in my life, is in my projects I've done throughout the year. Also make presentations.

What strengths do you posses that you can use at a higher level next year?

        One thing for sure is, my knowledge on computers and programs. For example, I know now how to make a brochure using only using MS Office. 

What obstacles must you work through so you can meet all your goals this year?

        One main obstacle that I need to work through/over come is, be more dedicated the work in this class. Also try to see things less tedious, and see the bright part of things. If I can do this, My grades will be SO much higher. 

Discuss what you have learned in this class and how it will assist you in achieving further academic and work related goal?

         Well I learned how to use power point better. Though I have used power point A LOT through my school years, I didn't completely know how to use it correctly, until now. I also learned how to make my own webpage, that's a big plus because if I ever want to advertise something, that would be the way how.

If you could do any assignment over this year, which one would it be, and why? Any regrets?

        No assignment come to mind, I feel I did pretty good through the year, and no regrets whats so ever. Its better to live with no regrets, that way you wont live with remorse and feel bad about what could have happened. As far as the assignment, I got what I deserved, and that was probably the best I could have done.

What are 3 words you would use to describe this class?

        Fun, frustrating, entertaining. Fun because I got to use the computer and do fun things. Also because I get to listen to music while I work, and that really helps me concentrate. Frustrating because when the computer doesn't act like it's supposed to, it makes me kinda mad, and frustrates me. Entertaining because it kept my mind busy, and off of things that were happening to me.

How did you computer skills grow or improve over the course of the year?

        They improved because now I know what I'm doing when I use something from Microsoft. Also by knowing how to do research on computers. One other way is, I also know what to do in an interview. For example, how to dress, what kind of questions they might ask me and also how to behave.

What were you greatest challenges or lessons learned this year?

        Dealing with my slipping grades, specially from AP World History. Dealing with the issues that life throws at me. All the changes I had and still have to undergo, even having to deal with retarded people that have nothing better but to bother me and talk crap.
